Ohio Public Utilities Commission Updates Forms Concerning Energy Broker Designations

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio now provides a designation option for energy brokers and aggregators on initial applications and renewal forms. The forms have been updated, and the designation options are now available in section A-1.

For brokers and aggregators that wish to update the company certificate designations, a material change may be filed. However, companies that still carry the aggregator designation will be required to use the Market Monitoring Application, even if the company has not participated in aggregation activities during the reporting period.

For clients that unnecessarily hold aggregator designations, LicenseLogix will handle material change filings for a fee of $99.
