Pennsylvania Now Requires Licensing of Non-Resident Pharmacies

If your company became a LLX client after November 2015, you may have missed the following LLX License Alert:

As of December 6th, 2015, all non-resident pharmacies operating in Pennsylvania must be registered through the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy to conduct business legally.

Governor Tom Wolf signed House Bill 75 into law earlier this year, granting the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy authority to register non-resident pharmacies operating in the state. Unregistered pharmacies shipping into Pennsylvania should stop shipments immediately and apply for registration in PA before continuing business.

Applications and information available on the Pensylvania Board of Pharmacy website.
