Washington D.C. to Begin Collecting Dispenser Data from Pharmacies

 
Effective Monday, August 15, 2016, the District of Columbia Prescription Drug Monitoring Program will begin collecting dispenser data from licensed pharmacies.
 
The Washington D.C. PDMP (Prescription Drug Monitoring Program) will begin collecting dispenser data from pharmacies beginning August 15th of this year. While no immediate action is required, database registration will open July 1st, 2016 and D.C. pharmacies are required to register before the August 15th effective date in order to begin reporting. If you are currently registered with the Appriss Clearinghouse system as a Data Submitter for another state, you will not need to re-register.
 
Additional information will be available beginning July 1st on the D.C. PDMP website.
